Grant Will Help Buses Run Cleaner
Rowan County school buses will be running a bit cleaner thanks to a state grant announced March 3. State environmental officials said the Rowan-Salisbury School System is among 10 school systems, businesses or other organizations selected for grants aimed at reducing air pollution from motor vehicles.
