  faculty, staff, students
  and the Center's
  partners in programs and
  activities that promote
  sustainable solutions to the
  environmental problems
  we face in the
  community, state
  and region.

  • Hear a variety of thought leaders, including Lisa Renstrom, national president of the Sierra Club; Wanda Urbanska, host of PBS's "Simple Living" Program; and Larry Shirley, director of the N.C. Office of Energy, among others.
  • Treat the children to a host of activities.
  • Attend stimulating workshops on everything from "Organic Farming & Lawn Care" & "Global Warming & the Struggles of the Inuit People" to "Moving Communities toward Sustainability" & "The Next Industrial Revolution"
  • Join us for EarthStock, an outdoor concert on the Catawba College campus.
